Animated masks

Post by steveRMD »

i don't know if this has been requested before but the abilty to have animated masks (f.ex. using a stingy sphere) instead of just jpgs would be a great addition !

hi,
try to put your mask video in a layer above your clip, and set this layers mix mode to multiply,
Use a black&white clip for mask video if you want to preserve colors.
Software developer, Sound Engineer,
Control Your show with ”Enter” - multiple Resolume servers at once - SMPTE/MTC column launch
try for free: http://programs.palffyzoltan.hu

thx for the reply... i was actually talking about the mask you could put underneath the transforms of the clip f.ex. the place where you can put a black/white jpg or other still image...

an animated version would be cool ;)

just a thought

I posted a method to achieve this effect using Layer Routers.

See viewtopic.php?f=12&t=11766

In the following comments I posted a detailed example.

Cheers,
