R6 Custom prefs/comps/shortcuts folder location

Post by mfo » Sat Nov 04, 2017 12:10

Hi,
for back-up, versioning and sometimes even sharing I like to store more Resolume preferences, compositions and shortcuts in the cloud. So far this is an arduous task done by hand. It would be great if could give Resolume a custom location for this folder block.
Thanks!

I use symlinks to do such a thing.

The resolume guys seem to have a pretty set folder scheme that seems to be part of their design philosophy. I bet your gonna have a lot of trouble getting this request. But I could be way out to lunch here, just a gut feeling.

I use allways sync its free, super powerful, works on windows and was suggested to me by super nerd idol Keith Lostracco. I use it to sync to a Dropbox folder. It even does versioning.

Nice tips, thanks.

p.s. I don't mean to change Resolume's prefs folder structure, only change the place where it is saved.
