Transtition like a PRO

Post by Bassindaniel »

Hey guys.

Can you please add a Transition timing to each clip? (just like the Bland mode option).
Maybe timing for IN and OUT timing for out?
and you can use "Layer determined" as default.

Please think about it :)
Daniel.

Yeah that's an amazing idea!
I would like to have longer transition times too, like 30 seconds.
It would save me so much time programming OSC :-)

How do you program your long transitions with OSC? Have you considered using the new envelope functionality?

Right now I program a long transition with use of the Layer opacity or Clip opacity.
How would you do this using the Envelope? :)

Actually with "save me a lot of time" is referring to a transition-time-per-clip-basis. Right now I program it using Qlab, every single cue has a transition-time-OSC-cue for all the layers. Sounds complicated, but it is not. Anyhow. I am very interested in how you use the new Envelope function! I've been playing with it but do not get how it could help me making long fade-in/out-times.
