HUE Rotate around centre

Hi,
a little feature request for the HUE Rotate effect: "Hue rotate" parameter's neutral point should be at 0.5! That way, you could gently and fluenty change the Hue via Midi fader/knob. At the moment you always have to go from very end to the other to do that.

0 and 1 have the same value, so if you start at either end, you get the same result. having it start a .5 would be a pain for me at least, as I would have get my knob exactly at .5 for my colors not to be off. It's much easier for me to slam a fader or knob to either 0 or 1 to get back to the exact colors of my content.

Ha, 0 and 1 is the same? It's the opposing end of the fader/knob!?
So if I want to shift HUE from a little to the left to a little to the right, I would have to move my fader all the way to the other end - very visible raibow transition!
I.e. I have a blue image, initally slightly changed to Cyan (hues slightly to the left) and now I want to gently shift it into the Violet (hue slightly to the right), then I practically can't do this right now.

This is a general problem with ranged controls. If you start with blue in the middle, your extreme left and right would be yellow. So you'd have the same problem shifting from yellowish green on the one end to yellowish red on the other.

The only way to not have this, is to use a controller with relative rotaries and set it to loop back around when it reaches the end.

Here is an example using a Midi Fighter Twister controller

Not if you see the fader (of the effect) as relative. Middle then means no change to whatever colour you have, extrem left is 50% hue shift to left, extrem right is 50% hue shift to the right.
This is how I use it in my own lighting patches (self-written in vvvv), and find that extremly helpful to fix differing colours of differing fixtures / screens / etc.. You know, when just needing to fix a notch. For that reason I use non-linear controls too, i.e. fader 10% to the left makes only 1% change, 20% means 5% ..

If you want to keep the effect as is, to not disturb the learned user experience, maybe add another version? Something called HUE shift relative? Would be much appreciated!

(Of course a controller with with relative rotaries would help too, but they have become kind of rare. Also I'm already travelling with too much stuff.)
