Testcard as source and other things

Post by ianscott1024 »

Hey Res team

Would be great to be able to have a test card as a source that can be placed as a tile on a layer. The current built in test card doesn’t in many of my use cases.

Other minor requests
- Bring back DMX Automap
- Composition Autosave
- Scroll wheel jogging of parameters specifically x y position
- Tracking backup between systems
- Timeline based compositions would be fab
- DMX Fixture profiles to automatically extend over a universe to a new one if universe runs out of channels ie standard 5M 60leds led strips needs to be broken up into two fixture types then patched separately.
- DMX automap

Thanks for the 16bit DMX control 👍👍

Thanks Team and remember keep calm and bring back DMX automap 👍

Only problem I’ve had with it was that is missing in Ver 6!

It’s not missing... it was deliberately removed!

Pretty easy these days to write a head file for your lighting desk of choice, and then quickly DMX map the relevant controls in arena. You’re not bogged down with hundreds of commands and attributes you don’t need to control.
