Virtual camera input

Post by Ffmedic »

Hi,

I’m preparing a show on a computer that has no capture cards but I need to implement them to my project since I’ll be using 2 of those for the show. Is there any way I could simulate those capture cards and once I migrate the project to a computer that has them to just relink them?

Thanks

Phill

This is currently not possible.
(moved to feature requests)

What you could do currently would be to place any source to the clip slots, and once you got your real capture card connected you could drop it over the clips, to replace their Video source.
Would have to be done for every clip separately.

If you use an image with the resolution of your camera inputs instead of a source, you're sure you have the correct size as well.

I’m using “BLANK” or solid color source as place holder.
