Save layer with clips as template

Post by aleksis7 »

In the future, it would be great to be able to save a layer filled with clips as a template so that you can easily open it in another project.

And please - more choice of colors for layers - 6 is not enough

You mean like this?:

Rather than using layers, use decks. This way you can structure multiple layers that will allow for column triggers. Then just recall the deck you want to use in other comps by using the comp browser.

Thanks for this example! I've used decks before. But for some reason, when switching between them, I often had crashes - maybe my computer is already outdated (it was top in 2017, or there is not enough memory 32GB)
Therefore, I am currently using one deck. And often you need to insert a prepared layer from another deck (namely the layer with clips, not the whole deck)

You might try decks again. A lot has changed in 4 years ;)
It's a 64 bit app now, that can support that 32GB of memory.
