define in-point where clip starts when triggered

Another thing I really would appreciate...

to be able to set the beginning of a clip individually. What do I mean? I hope I can explain...

Imagine you loop a clip synced to MIDI clock or BPM. Let's say play the clip within 4 beats. The clip is 100 frames long and there is a fish jumping out of the water starting at frame 75 (position: 3/4).
Now I want the fish to jump out of the water every 2nd beat (1.2; 2.2; 3.2; etc.). When I "resync" my composition, the fish would jump every 3rd beat.

It would be cool, if I could set a marker at the transport line to assign an in-point (in this case frame no. 50) where the clip starts to play, when I resync everything. So it would look like this
[resync]50,51,52,53,..97,98,99,100,1,2,3,4,...97,98,99,100,1,2,3,4...

I know, I could edit the loop in Premiere, but most of the time there is no time to re-edit the clip. ;)

Good idea, this is quite common when working with audio loops. We,ll put it on our todo.

+1 for start points for looped clips ie set clip to start from a predefined point in a loop
