rescan for DV or USB devices

Post by flo »

hey!
thanks for the great improvements in v3.1.3...

I just wondered if there could be an option to rescan the IEEE1394 oder USB bus for connected devices like a DV-camera. Imagine you're running a live show and your DV-camera is shut off for some reason. You have to shut down and restart resolume to use the camera again. No good option. So it would really be real helper just to click rescann and the camera would again be detected while resolume keeps on running.

regards flo

This was implemented in 2.4 and was very useful, although it only worked the first time that a device was added, if a device was recognised and then shut down temporarily it would n`t be re-recognised.

super bump. Lost my midi controller for the main act friday night... I did fine with just keyboard and mousepad, but you loose the ability to dance and go nuts... gotta keep my finger on the mouse pad.
