If you have the "Scroll layers and clips into view" enabled in preferences, then you can select any clip via midi or osc and then the window scrolls to its position.

edit: you can select the layer 1 clip 1 with /layer1/clip1/preview/ int 1 via OSC

Yes I could do this...but this will put some extra load to the system...and it's not that handy.

The idea is...just to map the scrollbar to a knob on a controller....

This is confirmed, accepted and will be part of Res 6.

It's not going to happen in 5 anymore, so you'll have to wait a little longer I'm afraid.
