Mask Generator Effect

Post by pfelberg »

Sometimes it is so tiresome to have to go outside Avenue´s environment to Photoshop to create and save a simple transparency mask, such as linear, rectangular or spherical. I am not talking about mapping here. I am talking about blending capabilities that could be applied to a clip or layer individually and adjusted on the fly.
Wouldn´t it be nice if we could have such a tool built in?
Attributes could be as: geometrical shape, direction, size, x, y values and feathering/blending edges percentage.

Does it sound nosense to anyone?

With a line source you can do a lot once you start adding effects
1 line + IR Tunnel
Mess with quality and you get triangles, hexagon, circles ....
