Slideshow Folder

Post by funkyant »

I would love to have a plugin, or be able to assign a clip slot to a folder path which uses jpg, bmp, png, etc in that folder to create a slideshow, in a similar way to the simple desktop slideshows in Windows 7.

I remember in Resolume 2 you could drag multiple stills into a clip slot to create a primitive slideshow, but it seems that functionality has been lost, no?

Anyway a folder path would be much more useful, as any changes made to the folder contents would update the slideshow.

I think this could be very useful in a lot of interesting ways.

LOVING all the improvements happening to Resolume. Keep up the great work guys :)

I know this would be a pain but could you use the auto pilot function and put a single frame into each coloum/layer

or do it simply in AE.

But, i do understand what you mean, those are possible alternatives but requires some production for the second one. I didnt realise you couldnt have this functionailty, I haven't done a slide show since Res 2.3 :)

this is easily done with Quartz composer too and you can have a bunch of different transitions to select from too.
