new effect plugins

Post by suzybee »

hey guys,

i'm using Resolume Avenue 4.1 and i love it, but i'm just using the same effects all the time.
does anyone know if there are any new effects plugins which are compatible with Resolume Avenue?

i don't mind paying for them, it would be wonderful to have some more effects to play with and i'm not technical enough to know how to make my own...

thankyou!!

I would really like to see a effect which is called: RANDOMIZER
...and he should do random things. Colour, Contrast, Form, Distortion...

I would really like to see a effect which is called: HDR
...a look like High Dynamic Range effect.

I would really like to see a effect which is called: Earthquake
...shake it baby!

thanks Edwin!

i'll think about an effects wish list and get back to you!

my favourite effect from Resolume 2 was "Vectorize" (i think it was a Pete's plug-in).
i've been trying to simulate it by using posterise on top of gaussian blur but the blur seems to slow everything down massively.
Do you know the one i mean?
is there a way to produce the Vectorize style effect more efficiently?

if anyone else has ideas that would be groovy...
thanks for joining in, Cosmowe!

to be continued...

How can we ever expect audiences and promotors to recognize the value of having a dedicated video operator if the VJs themselves are just randomly throwing pixels around?

Try the attached preset for the Iterate effect.
