Audio Card Suggestions

Post by digitalgigalow »

I think it is time to update my audio midi interfaces. I have a M-Audio 410 and no new firmware updates have come out. I also have not been able to sync Ableton an Resolume midi clocks. I think it is do to issues with Firewire.

I have been looking at the Akai EIE Pro and was wondering if anyone have this unit.

I also would like to know what others are using.

Thank You!!

Personally, I love the sound of the MOTU interfaces.
One similar to the M-Audio would be the Motu Ultralite-mk3, Firewire and USB 2.0, more expensive than the Akai, but much higher quality...

Also a musician, I am using Roland's Octa Capture which runs nicely. ( There is a Quad and Duo for smaller set ups. )
