Interesting, I was just running the same test on my MBP (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) and here is what I got:

Whaa?? really? even the new imac with 5k screen just get around 700mb. same with the later 21" with SSD of cause

I must say, I was pretty impressed myself with the results , especially since these were under a 5Gb stress test! I use the MBP for shows more and more and I keep being very happy with the results.

We just got a couple of OWC Helios TB2 chassis which will allow me to use PCIE capture cards with the MBP and I was testing the SSD drive to compare with a PCIe SSD drive that we were considering but now I'm debating whether or not to invest b
