Mediaserver for sale

PC/Mac running QUO Computer´s motherboard that natively supports Mac OS X.
Nvidia GTX780 installed.
Has been running as my main media server and office machine for two years, testing all sorts of configurations of multi screen setups with Resolume Arena, VDMX, Modul8, VUO, QuartzComposer, MadMapper, Vezér, Ableton Live, Processing etc. running.

I once let the machine run all those softwares + Safari, LogMein, Mail, LittleSnitch, After Effects and Dropbox + a 1.2GB photoshop doc open, for a week while I was on holiday. Just to test.

Plays 8K files, but not with much of a framerate.

Plays 5 layers of 4K DXV3 @ 55 fps (see screenshot)

Upgrading servers around the studio, so no need for this fun workhorse anymore.

Has never crashed. Never, ever. And I´ve been running it hard. And usually 24/7 for weeks, since it has doubled as my FinalCutPro, Adobe, 3D, RED Cinema etc. desktop machine, plus Dropbox mirror host and network hub.

Installed Yosemite without glitch.

New price €2900 / US$3200.

Asking €1900 / US$2040

Nice config !
Also got a similar with GTX970...
You said "Installed Yosemite without glitch."
I'm having issues on my hackintosh with some random glitches in Yosemite... could you give me a solution please ? All hardware has been tested and is OK... when using it on windows everythings rox... no glitches... bun when booting on Yosemite with Clover... got glitches on resolume and also on web browsing... if you have the solution it would be so great ! Thanks a lot.

Hi! I´ll have to test further on Yosemite, I just installed it recently.

Do you guys think the price is too high? It´s a fast machine, and compact, and runs Windows + Mac native. SHould be worth a few bob :)

Think price is quite high. Too much money for Ivy Bridge CPU and Geforce 7-series in time of Skylake and Broadwell-E and DDR4 and Geforce 9-series. And fast M2 ssd and so on and on.
Also, you can add not so much and get a Mac Pro trash bin.

I think you´re probably right.

So I´m open for bids, since it´s kind of just standing there running office software atm.
