Impact of HW parts on Resolume performance..

Post by Ladin »

Hi guys, I´m just wondering about parts in PC and their usage by Resolume.

Graphic card.
Yes, It´s main HW for Resolume. Almost all of computes providing graphic card. It is necessary to have the best I can have.
But, what about the second card for advancing number of outputs. Is there any minimum for second graphic card? I don´t need 2 Titans, right?

Processor.
Right, It is necessary to drive a graphic card by some computing power. It´s impossible to run graphic card like GTX 980ti on (let´s say) one core celeron, because of bottleneckig.
Is there any roof for processor for Resolume?
Depends on number of cores? On frequency? Is it better to have more cores on lower frequencies, or less cores on higher freqencies??

RAM.
Well, there is some minimum requirement, some optimum, but how many gigs of RAM can use Resolume? Is there any maximum?
Is better to have RAM on high frequency and high latency? Or lower frequency with low latency?
Is there any benefit from ECC modules?

Thanx for your opinions..

L.
