Has anyone tried this product to convert a UHD HDMI signal into 4x 3G SDI/HDSDI signals with resolume?

Since UHD quad link SDI is just 4 separate 3G or HDSDI signals in theory it should be able to be split then run to 4 different 1080p screens/projectors or am I wrong?
If so it seems like it could be an affordable alternative to datapath, especially if you end up converting to SDI for runs anyways.
