Decklink 8k pro outputs

After a bit of advice. In the resolume manual it says:

Blackmagic SDI outputs always require an external hardware reference clock to stay sync.

Is that only when using more than one card? Do all the sdi outputs on a single decklink always stay in sync with each other regardless of external sync, or is every sdi output completely independent of the others as far as sync is concerned?

The outputs of a single decklink are not synced with each other

I use an RTX4000 to push videos with BMD Decklink Quad 2 outputs, I still haven't had any problems with synchronization!

BMD SDI outputs on a single card are NOT sync'd. The AJA Crovid line is:

Ever used 2 or more Corvid on the same computer? If yes, how do you sync it?

I haven't but their SDK is wide open for sharing clock sources. They also have a ref in, so I would recommend using a genlock sync gen on any connected devices anyways. So with either the SDK or the sync gen should work. I have a BMD decklink quad 2. Works great for sending to separate displays, but it will give you tearing if you try to mosaic them.
