how are my specs looking?

Post by djcyph »

The mac at the venue I work for finally shit the bed, it was super old to begin with and I'm surprised it lasted this long! I've been tasked to build a custom PC for under 1k!! I know not much of a budget but we don't need much out of the PC....

The old mac was responsible for very minimal content to 9 projectors around the venue. The content is always one video montage (only played once during the event), photos/logo still images and maybe one or two visuals. None of the content is ever played at the same time. I forget what the GPU was but it outputted to the monitor and Triplehead to split the signal to projectors and Blackmagic card for camera input.

Would these be sufficient enough for what we do?

Processor: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core (Is a different CPU cooler necessary?)
Motherboard: MSI - X470 GAMING PLUS ATX AM4
GPU: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5X
Storage: Samsung - 860 Evo 250 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (only programs on this, no content)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
PSU: SeaSonic - 520 W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Thanks!
