Hi Guys!
Is anyone running Resolume ArenA on the most recent Mac Mini's?

Specs:
3,2‑GHz 6‑core Intel Core i7 van de 8e generatie (Turbo Boost tot 4,6 GHz)
32 GB 2666‑MHz DDR4
Intel UHD Graphics 630
512 GB SSD-opslag
Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000BASE‑T Gigabit Ethernet via RJ‑45-connector)

How is the Intel UHD Graphics 630 running with Resolume?

Hello Stefan!

I am running Resolume Avenue 7 on my Mac mini. While mine doesn't have as much RAM (I have 20Gb), one thing I will definitely tell you, is to get an eGPU.

I have the Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Box 650, with a Radeon Vega 64 inside. I have a DisplayPort to HDMI cable going from that to my 55" screen for output.

The internal graphics card is only going to handle but so much, and you'll find your animations and graphics output can quickly choke the internal Intel graphics card. I spent some time trying to figure out what was causing it, but once I got that eGPU chassis and Vega 64 card attached, it's been smooth sailing.

Ran that graphics benchmark app too (the one with all the fancy "Valley", and "Lab" environments), the evidence was clear. Check NewEgg for the card, and get the eGPU chassis either directly from Sonnet, or check out OWC - Other World Computing (macsales.com).

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Brian
