Jihaaaaaaaa.... I ordered one of those little fellows. I'm wondering if it could be possible to attach it to a sub-woofer chassis with low sensitivity and link it to the BPM-Tap..hmmm...perhaps not...we will see

Not full rubber, but they are something like soft/smooth quality plastic.
As for the price, it's high because of the low quantity production, the handmade enclosure & assembly and the prices of its components.
