Thumbnails generation

Hi!
I'm new to resolume development, I wonder if I'm missing something.
I some cases, I drop a clip into a cell, and reso doesn't seem to generate a thumbnail for it, is there a way to force resolume to regenerate thumbnails or is there any rules re thumbnails?

EDIT: I found with trail and error, if i swithc decks for like 300ms and back it regrenrates thumbnails, but there must be a more graceful way to do this..

Thumbnail generation can take a bit if you load a bunch of files at once.

Do you see this happening with one file dropped at a time too?

Yes, i dont see thumb. generation even with one file.

Speaking of thumbnails... is there a specific (correct) size to use for effects/sources/clips?

I like to customize them, but I can never get the size right.

Hi!
I'll try to explain it better. resolume itself shows thumbnails fine. its the webserver which doesnt.
ie. when i drop a clip on a resolume cell, reso shows the thumb instantly, but when i switch to the webserver example (see attached ss, top: resolume, btm: webserver) it doesnt show the thumbnails. to fix this i need to swithc to another deck and back to the deck i was in and sometimes this will show the thumbnails. its a webserver bug or glitch and i'm looking for a way to solve this..

API thumbnails will be fixed in the next release.

Try hitting command (control) + Shift + T with the clips selected to update the thumbnails, the generated image should look like how the clip will play in the composition.
