Crashes and Crashes

I had my first Gig with the new 2.4 version. Crashes,Instant Shutdown or Freezes (with a nice bright fullscreen white output) nearly 10 times in the set.Mostly while browsing and loading new Decks.
2.3 and 2.4Beta were much more stable.
Ill post more Details and the Bugs i found later.

glad (kind of) that it's not just me. 2.4 is pretty unusable on my machine.

agree - browsing and loading files causes crashes time and time again. It crashes when i open the folder in the browser, but it's not always the same folder. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Staying with the beta version for now...

Was going to try out the new 2.4 verson this weekend but I might go back to the Beta version until I here a few more reports.

on my computer resolume stop craching since i uninstall the other versions of resolume and that my computer run Windows with a DEP exception list on Resolume.

(did not have time to post this before gig and still busy for another one soon, so i write this quickly, sorry if not totally clear - still LOVE resolume overall):

2.3 was rock solid for me. 2.4 beta i played w/new stuff, didn't test, only tested w/2.4 final, and yes, unfortunately it crashed/froze/etc.

seems like decks from 2.3 that have *effects* saved in individual channels was my issue. i came across this conclusion based on opening up 2.3 decks in 2.4 F (copied 2.3 decks to appropriate folder in 2.4 F), making changes to them and then saving them and wham bam crash (pgm closes, back to desktop).

also, if i loaded a deck that had no effects in indiv. channels into deck1, then dragged another deck that did have effects in indiv. channels onto the same deck1, resolume crashed again (pgm closes, back to desktop).

(re-edited on 9.26.06 10:37pm - effects are definitely an issue for me in 2.4 F)
i got around this by loading that problem deck (w/effects in indiv. ch.) IN RESOLUME VER. 2.3, removing the effects and opening up same deck in 2.4 and applying the same effects only from 2.4 and saving it - then the above issues no longer applied.

the main effect that seem to blow up resolume was "delay RGB". also, a couple of times "delay mask" crashed it too, but then sometimes it worked fine!

1 last thing, when you designed 2.4 Beta, your folder for settings was "resolume 2.4", not "resolume 2.4 BETA", so when one installs 2.4 final, it writes over this, and if ones uses 2.4 beta again, it saves over 2.4 final and vise versa (hope this is clear).

sorry, 1 last thing: could you provided us a list of effects that were changed from 2.3 so we can check them on our end to make sure we're using only 2.4 and not 2.3? if time permits?
