Free flash slideshow

Post by vjsjarcie »

With my beginners experience I have been able to make some sort of slideshow.
I've put it here for download in case someone needs it or wants to adjust it for personal use.
Ofcourse if someone does adjust it, I would be very pleased if the code will be posted here again, so I can learn from it too.

I needed this for a gig where during a party a photographer passes me pictures which I had to put on a screen in a bit of a viewable way.
I just made some more adjustments to it for the upcoming episode of the party so it is less buggy.
Any suggestions/aprovements would be appreciated!

Here are some of the parameters that can be used :

I haven't been able to tweak the parameters to have easy use and setting up of the slideshow, but with some fiddling you can make something nice out of it.
The RandomRotationMax is not (yet) as it should be, but I'm still working on it.
I use pictures resized to 640*480 to display, didn't try anything bigger yet.

So have fun, adjust as you like and please leave a comment.

Cheerz...

If you add the pictures to the same folder as the flashfile, the only thing you have to do is type in the filename in the text window.
See the picture in the top post...

This is cool.

Would be great for it to just load all pictures in the folder without typing :D

Forgot about this post, sry for that.

I also made a little batch-file that makes a .txt file with all .jpg's in it.
The only thing you have to do is open the .txt-file, select all (ctrl-a) and copy (ctrl-c) and paste (ctrl-v) it in resolume.
If you want other file-types you just have to adjust the batch-file.
The only disadvantage is that you have to switch between Res-interface and the folder where your pictures are.
But then again, getting sore fingers is surely not the way to go.
