You can either get some from the Resolume footage shop (I think) or other sites. I know VJloops.tv has a wide selection.

What you could do is buy one of the QC packs (http://resolume.com/footage/repetitivestrain or http://resolume.com/footage/wavefunction), and play them at 5760x1200. Or whatever resolution you want really, they're optimized so that they can scale to pretty much any horizontal resolution.

You could even render them to mov using QuartzCrystal. They'd be some pretty whopping files though.

I already thought of that to get footage for some weird resolutions. Would save a few bucks to when you just buy the low res package and get the QC files with it :D But i was wondering if there was a place where you could get some HD triplewide or somewhere in that direction that isn''t that abstract. Guess it's time for a 4k DSLR with a proper price 8-)
*edit: What's that Quartz Crystal? I know you can export compositions in Quartz composer, but it doesn't allow a huge res like 2500 or even 5760..

oh, and sorry this isn't about the rMBP.
pretty nice beast though, hope to get one next summer after the first update :)

Thanks! Quartz Crystal has a max resolution of 4096x4096 so that's pretty huge :)
