Post by rawdesigns »

Hey guys just wanted to share some renders of this simple controller concept which I think would work lovely with Resolume. Maybe someday! :)

I wouldn't want the knob between the buttons and faders, its an obstacle when moving from your fader to a button and kinda a no no in design.

This design is cool. Nice to have a crack at it. Looks like the APC is doing a good thing with the Mk 2. Still though this isn't a bad idea at all. Be interesting to see what the Res peeps thinks. Remember the react?

One thought is that the UI might change in the next version perhaps? ***I do not know if that's the case just making a suggestion. Maybes a controller for version 5?

Would you like to know our thoughts on having a controller built especially for Resolume, or on the layout of this specific concept?

2 x A&H Xone K2
1 x Novation Launchpad

64 clip trigger (or more if you get creative and create banks)
8 faders, with buttons in the right place for flashing and quick effects, 24 rotary knobs with buttons for dashboard/opacity whatever control
8 endless encoders with push button

I've often thought of a USB controller that could double as a video/lighting controller (kind of like MAonPC command wing).

To much R&D and not enough time, setup listed above is about as close as I can get :p
