4U Resolume Grabber / Collect your media / free

Post by cosmowe »

Hey folkz!
finally we finished our little project. And here it is...

The Resolume Grabber for Windows

Download here!

Till now Resolume offers us no easy way to backup and collect our compositions to one single place so we decided to build the Resolume Grabber.

HOW TO USE

1.
Download the setup file above and install the Resolume Grabber

2.
Start the application

3.
Choose a composition you want to collect/backup.

4.
Choose a destination folder where all your content from the chosen composition should be copy to.

5.
If you also like to add a copy of the original source avc. click Include composition

6.
If you also like that the Resolume Grabber edits a copy of your source avc. and automatically re-assign every media from your composition to your new destination click Re-assign clip locations

7.
Grab it! And watch the rabbit doing the job for you.

I hope you like it!

Best regards

Hey again,
the last few days I received some questions about the Resolume Grabber. Some where very similar...so I will answer them here too.

Q: What happens to files from the composition with same names for example "01.mov" which came from different source folders?

A: The Grabber will not overwrite them in the new destination. He will detect different clips with same names and rename the copy with "01_001.mov, 01_002.mov, 01_003.mov ....and so on.

Q: I have one and the same clip used very often inside my composition - will the Grabber copy it as much as I used it in my composition?

A: No - The Grabber will detect multiple used but identical files inside the composition and will only copy it once to the new destination.

Have Fun!
