Bazik is a new way to generate content for vjing. It's a visual plugin, perfect in Resolume.

I think that people who try it love it, but it's not easy to promote a new type of tool...

For example, in my last 2 gigs, Bazik produce more than 50% of my show, mixed with my old bank of video loops !

Great little app but it still needs a little more functionality. its essentially quartz with an interface?

Bazik is not Quartz based, it can play some Quartz compositions but it's just a feature. Bazik is a ready to play audiovisualizer, with some powerfull automation, create to be user friendly and easy to use.

For example, it can analyse audio and produce automatically a vjset ! 8-)

Also don't under-estimate the value of a good interface.

It's one thing to make high quality generative visuals, it's a completely other thing to also control these quickly and accurately during a show. I've seen a lot of very talented realtime coders give subpar performances because they were too busy going through 1000 and then some parameters, trying to find the right one in time.

Bazik seems to offer just the right balance between freedom and structure, which is a very difficult thing to get right. Props to you, Taktik.
