You should be able to manage & preview DXV files with QuickTime.

Its good news, but what about PC users. Its a lot of difficulties, then you need search footage in you library. I cant find it with native instruments in Windows (Explorer i mean). Do you planned include thumbnails feature for windows?

Confirmed. Just downloaded the latest version of K-lite, 12.55, and I now have thumbnails and they play in Media Player Classic.

I have Windows 10 x64.

WhooHoo...

K-Lite is said to contain adware or malware. The installed codecs might also mess up systems

there was a nice thread about thumbnails on windows:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/vjunion ... 226226550/

In short the recommendation is to install ICAROS:
http://shark007.net/forum/Thread-New-Release-3-0-1-RC-1

It only generates thumbnails and comes without adware.

- download / install
- activate (thumbnail generation) during installation or afterwards
- add "mov" to the file type list in the Icaros thumbnailing control panel.
- thumbnails are generated if you open any folder containing DXV .movs

have fun
