Any way to align beats using BPM Sync?

Post by Mc128k »

I'll make it clearer, if I have a clip that has a certain number of beats, I can use BPM sync and tell it how many beats there are, but what if the clip doesn't start with a beat, but in the middle of it? In other words, I'm looking for the possibility to "sync" the start of a loop at some other point rather than the beginning, keeping the BPM sync feature.
Like a "translation" feature of the whole clip. I've searched guides and manuals, it seems to be missing.

Any ideas?

This is not currently possible. Would be cool to have though!

Having "Edit-able" BPM points (Kind of like how you can move the star end end point of the clip), would be cool.
OR
If it's a clip you use a lot, Just edit the video to align itself to 120BPM so when you change stuff in Resolume, it will stay in sync :)
