MIDI Mapping and Layer Order

Post by aarkley »

After I map clips to my midi controller - if I change the layer order - the midi mappings don't follow. (see attachment) This also happens when I add a layer - all the mappings shift.

Is this a bug - or is this how it's supposed to be? It didn't do this in V5

I often reorder my layers - and it would be nice if the MIDI mappings followed...

Thanks! I LOVE RESOLUME!

Hey Aarkley,

When you are mapping Resolume; most of the things are set on "by position". Meaning that if you map something on the first layer. It will stay there.

In your case, I would choose the option "This Clip". That way the button will always follow that specific clip.

Note; if you replace the clip with another footage. The midi shortcut will disappear as well.
