It would be great to have easy access to the, say last 5, previously used clips on a layer without having to search through the clip library and be able to select them from a dropdown menu. See proposal below:

I'll be happy to add it to the feature bucket for you.

At the moment, between getting 6 as stable as possible and the 1000+ feature requests we still have lying around, the outlook for this bad boy is rather grim.
