I have been looking for Win 10 1703 too.

My issue is different. Many other programs can hit 60 fps with Vsync on. When I open Resolume 6, I see the FPS drop from 60 to 30. Resolume 5 just opens and shows 30 fps. But Build Win 10 build 1703 this was not the case, I had 60 fps with Vsync on.

I have gone all the way back to the included NVIDIA driver with 1709 and the 4 versions moving forward. I have not tried older drivers yet. Just haven't had time.

Any help would be appreciated but man these Win 10 builds seem to be going backwards with every release.

I'm still getting 60fps in build 1703 and the newest NVIDIA driver (388.53???)

I've downloaded 1703 ISO if you want me to send to you.

Yeah I got 60 fps with 1703 before this as well.

I just found a place to get official builds from MSDN too. Thank you for the offer. I'm not done yet, I am sure this update will be forced on us some day. So might as well try to figure it out now if possible. I just closed one company to peruse this so I have some time before I need this PC for live performances again.

If I can add to this thread, my FPS issue seems to be fixed in two spots. First set NVIDIA control panel, under Resolume set to "use 3d application setting".

Then in Resolume 6, Composition, Settings and change FPS from Auto to 60.

Perhaps there are better settings and I am still experimenting with that. But for now I don't seem to have the 30 FPS limit.

im getting crazy tearing if v-sync is off,

Force it "on" in nvidia control panel and framerate gets locked to 30fps, and drops to 20 when the video is heavy in moving objects.

Set it to "application controlled" and all seems well again.

This is on Fall Creators update btw, drivers is 388.59.

Hmm looks like the new update may have introduced a "Fullscreen Optimization" setting in the Compatibility settings for applications. Mind checking the compatibility settings ... and see if that setting exists? If so let's disable it and give the game a try.
if it gives any results?
You should find the setting in Right click menu of the Arena shortcut - Compatibility tab.
Software developer, Sound Engineer,
Control Your show with ”Enter” - multiple Resolume servers at once - SMPTE/MTC column launch

Tried it on my previous show, makes no difference. then again all is fine after i set v-sync in nvidia settings to be controlled by application.

My fix to this was to return the shitty MaxQ Design laptop and stick to full GPUs
