So I tired audio input this past weekend using xlr to 1/8 out of our board. It was okay, some effects were cool others not so much.

Any effects that you know work really well with audio and suggest I try?

TBH, your input audio filter & FX envelope settings will be where the magic is at.

As for FX, I like displace, Exposure, Fish Eye, Distortion, and Shift RGB. I little can go a long way ;)

Ill have to play around with it some more this week. Reveal was pretty cool especially with tracks that had breaks.

Audio capture will have more control over a microphone feed, resulting better dynamics in the audio analysis.
Check out my free REACT set to get some ideas. There are a couple tutorials on the page to see it in action. The clips are purely generated with Resolume.
