NDI Tools for VLC

Post by roxwindy »

Hi there,

I've realized that whenever I start up Resolume, I need to reload the NDI plugin for VLC videos everytime in order for it to work. It will always be offline no matter what but once I drag in the plugin from Sources it works perfectly again. I've been curious has it always been like this or am I facing a bug?

Thanks!

Do you need to reload the NDI plugin in VLC or reload the source in Resolume?

Nope, just that every time I start up Resolume I have to manually drag it from Sources. I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

Resolume should reconnect the NDI sources automatically when they are available.
Now, if VLC announces the NDI server on the same IP address as before, is another question.

Could you create and share a screen recording of what you do and what happens exactly, and send us the Resolume log file via the feedback tab in preferences after it happening?
Thanks!
