Trigger other clips with single clip

Is there a way to have a clip also trigger other clips in layers above or below it when it is activated?

You'll want to use a column trigger. give that a search in the "support" page on this site.

Yeah, I know I can do a column trigger. My scenario is that i want an auto-pilot to move from one clip with nothing above it activated, but then when it fires a specific clip, I want it to also activate other clips above it.

Add a blank clip and set the duration to the same duration as the "clip that's playing" then set autopilot. it will act as a spacer and preserve the auto-pilot hierarchy.
Copy and paste as needed for that column. Repeat the process for the next column.
