Attach Camera

Post by MusikensHusErik »

Just new to the the software (Avenue) and it works fantastic!!
Now I want to get a feed from a camera into Avenue - sorry för a newbee question but what do I need for that?. Does it require a datacard, or just a hdmi input. :(

So I just need to hook up the camera with a hdmi cable into the computer and Avenue will notice and display it?

You plug the HDMI from the camera into the device from the link above, and then that device plugs into your USB. Then you should see USB Video device under sources.

Are you on a PC?

No Im on mac.

So I need to get the camera in to the computer by a USB. Simple as that?
Do I need a virtual card as you suggested or just a Hdmi to USB cable?

Does it recognice two feeds from two cameras to two USB?
:)
Thanks

you need the device I listed (or something similar) that is the cheapest option to get you up and running. It's 1 device per camera.

Oh man, Still doesnt work.
Bought this one (link below) and full of confidence I plug the camera into the computer - It recognice it under source as USB Device. But then blank in Arena as well as in Aveny. Attaching the mac book camera worked without problem.
What can be the problem ??
