You were correct. It was my fall settings that made my waveforms behave in this way. I feel very, very dumb and sincerely apologize for the time you have spent attempting to troubleshoot a non-issue. I became confused with the different behavior in waveform preview between 5 and 6 and never once considered this to be my solution.

Has any progress been made on this issue? I still cannot select a stereo pair.

BTW, what's the ticket number so I can keep an eye out for it on future releases?

Yes, it will be available in 6.0.8.
