Hi thomas,
could you export your .fla as a version 6 flash movie.
i have flash mx (version 6) and can't open your flash movie to look at the code.

i made a version 6 file, but flash mx (v6.) doesn't support unicode ... this is a problem when for example the german ä, ö, an other crazy letters are in an sms.

I'm talking to a PhoneProvider in my City , they provide PremiumSMS services and can send the data over http-requests. Perhaps I can get a number for germany where Users can choose betwen Party's by writing a keyword into an sms. The numbers are also only 6 digits long --> better to keep in mind. And of course they can be used as Payment
Well, this is only one Part i'm working with, the other is a linux-distri to do all the sms-stuff. I want to use a little embedet pc in a selfbuild small case.
Linux because it doesn't cost anything....

Hi! I got the receiving end all figured out, but I'm having problems with the flash files (i hate actiopnscript). Anyone got a good flash file?

Hi,
Last december I made a performance with a dance group in witch I received SMS texts and images and mixed them with my footage and with the live images of the dancers.
I made some flash files that read some variables that were posted on a URL. The flash files checked in small intervals the page and updated the variables, showing on screen the texts and images sent by the public to a large account, in real time.
As I work on a mobile content company, the process of receiving the messages (and recording them on a database) was already done. So I just specified the variables the .asp page had to post.
