Onboard video as control?

Hi its my firstcpost so please play nice.

Due to work Im starting to use Reseolume and been really getting into obscure mapping. What I was asked to do for a client worked out well however my computer only has 4 outputs, a GTX 580 and the onboard intel 2000. My problem was (and expected) that I was getting a terrible framerate due to having one of my outputs coming off the intel 2000 as well as the control monitor even thkugh the other outputs were off the Gtx 580. I ask is it possible to just use the intel for control only and tne gtx for output but still get a decent framerate?

In the near future I intend on upgrading the card and keeping the gtx 580 as control and one output. Will this still work well?

Cheers

Don't use your Intel gpu for control. from what I understand whatever card runs the gui renders everything.

The reason your fps sucks is because you literally just threw out all the gpu power of the gtx 580.

Not possible, and many many times this has been warned against on the forums. Also brings up stability issues with mapping. 100% not a professional solution.
