I have noticed that when I have been using a camera lately for my live feed, Resolume crashes really easy. I have stripped down a composition to just a few simple clips and my camera and it still crashes easily buy unpredictably. Has anyone had this issue? It didn't happen in the older versions! Thanks in advance friends.

What are you using to capture your camera feed?

Also, have you tested with MBP's webcam to see if you get the same behavior when your capture device is not connected?

Im going out of a dvx100 firewire into a lightening adaptor. Webcam doesn't behave the same, the weird thing is this has always worked since resolume 2.4. I have yet to try the canopus 110 because its out on loan.......

What OS are you using? Did you notice it happening when you upgraded to a new version (10.9.4 or 10.9.5 for instance) or has it been an issue for a while? Do you have any other capture devices you can test?

As a note I use BMD capture cards all the time and find that Resolume runs like a rock with capture. One of the last shows I did was a blend of 2 HD (1080i 60) cams and ran like a champ without one crash for 3 weeks so I'm wondering if it has to do with the FW to PCIe (thunderbolt).

I guess its time to get a BMD capture card. Thanks for your input and help!
