hello, is there anyone who knows a software that produce thumbnails from an Videoclip-Folder on my Windows PC?! I just want a preview for mixing it, that i know, which clip is hip or not!?...

doesn't windows do that automatically, i.e. if you set the "view" mode to "thumbnails" in explorer or file manager or whatever they call it these days?
of course, resolume shows moving thumbnails as well, so you can always use that.

yes, right - it works in resolume. but to sort the clips, before starting a new set, its good to know which clip is on my computer!
and thumbnails with windows-explorer only works with images...
i´m still searching!

in windows xp it does work with movieclips as well... but of course only .avi and .mpegs and no quicktime...
a while ago i made a thumbnailmaker...
this can create an html page with the thumbnails and other info about clips...
let me know wether you are interested ..

there are a stack of good shareware thumbnail apps available - i use ACDSee, also irfanview is excellent, thumbs plus is another...
- you can use ACDSee as a basic video clip server if you have a zoomable g.card (ie Matrox)
just select a clip and it plays automtically in the preview window.....
