hallo dear resolume pros!

I will use Avenue for my artistic PhD about visual rhythm and I have two questions:

1. I want to synchronise Avenue with the midi signal from Maschine, NI
I also receive the midi signal in Avenue but if I set the Clock Input to: Start/Stop the clips will not start. On 'Switch to manual on stop' they do start! Any suggestions on this problem??

2. Is there any way to start a video after the current video is finished? For me it would be the best to trigger a column over midi when ever I want and it would start after the current active column videos are done! Something like Beat Snap after active clip is over would be perfect!!! I actually just need the function that every triggered clip waits with starting till the active clip comes to its end...

thanx a lot!
daniel

system:
Avenue 4.2.1
macbook pro, OS X 10.10.3

look for auto pilot in the manual, it can trigger clips in the same layer after one ends.
colum-like triggering can be done with a color source or still image:you can set their duration in seconds. make them transparent, or move out from the view and they can trigger a clip in given time.

if you need real column triggering automation, then look at the link in my signature. it could help you with your midi triggering problem too.
