Another question, I believed relevant:
can you indicate the best configuration for hardware and OS to run resolume?
and, moreover, can you tell us what codec and program to convert file you suggest? i know you say midvid, but so far I had no good result, using Virtual dub as converter...

the most importand thing to consider when buying a new system is getting a fast dualhead videocard the new herculez radeon 8500 cards are superb ...

using the cinepak codec wil give the fastest playback results but the indeo codec will give a higher imgae quality ...

I just can confirm ligos indeo5.1. I´m using it on 100%quality and still running fast- specialy with the new beta2
