Another thing (Sugestion):
> When we change Composition Settings Size, the layers with Width and Heigh with auto-resize active should be updated with the new size.

So the problem is really your layout because I too had the same complaint. But once you realize it is just how you laid out you decks is wrong, you can move your common clips to the bottom (layer 1). Then next common clips in layer 2, and so on up the deck.
Then when you switch decks and it always goes to layer 1, well all your common clips are in layer 1, so it is now Less of a problem. Not the best design you may think at first to default to layer 1 of each deck all the time. But if all your common stuff is moved to layer 1 in each deck, that "limitation" actually becomes a useful feature.
My deck layout "structure"
Deck 5 - Logos, Promos, Anything on top that does not change much - You can map keys to trigger these if they need to be changed more often.
Deck 4 - Effects - Just effects that can be applied to all layers below it
Deck 3 - Quick hits - Short clips, like shapes to add over top of all those
Deck 2 - Motion videos - Like tunnels and semi transparent overlays
Deck 1 - Backgrond Videos - A video that fills the full fram

Yes i have similar setup, but now i'm trying to add this strob effect provided by the user 'ravensc':
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... 8kQMrtBiyw
I need to have a layer with 50% opacity and Multiply mode that i can't place above the others layers.
Also if i do Invert effect on the new clips that i bought with alpha, the backgroung isn't inverted so i need a black solid background layer. (Or is a alternative way for this ?)

Wrong guy here, I am pretty new. I have played with that though. I have a few of these that I just can't fit anywhere into the format. That is where my inexperience comes in.
But I would insert an extra column with only those 3 clips for the strobe with nothing above or below it. Then just trigger the column which will load the strobe chase clips and eject the other layers.

Just toggle off the alpha with the A switch in RGBA.

Thanks Joris, although it work for what i'm asking here, i would like to maintain the alpha channel instead using others blendings modes.
Guess i have to quit the ideia of the layer strobs (i only can see max 7 layers, and i would loose sight of 2 important layers), and some day when i have more big events, will buy your awesome plugin (too expensive to my wallet at the moment).

Question, do you have a controller using ?
If so, you could then not worry about the upper layers because you can map the effects to specific buttons, so you won't have to be "hunting down" the layers that are higher up, if you get what i am saying...
