Alpha types doesn't shown

Hi!

Is there a case, when in DXV3 with alpha channel doesn't shown alpha types (Straight/Premultiplied)?

Just wanted try to make some VJ work with win tablet (Intel HD Graphics 5300 integrated card), but need to set straight alpha type to some clips.

It also looks like, that in preview window clips are ok, but when I start them (there is 3 layers, 2 transparent clips), alpha is broken.

Or maybe I can convert files with encoder?

Are you not seeing the alpha channel or the alpha type?

If you are not seeing the drop down menu for alpha type, that's because your clip doesn't have an alpha channel. Are you seeing the A of RGBA on (it should be green)? If you have an alpha channel in your clip, the option option to switch between straight and premultiplied is available whether the alpha channel is turned on or off.

If you're having issues with the alpha channel with DXV3, take a look at this thread: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=12439

I'm see description of codec "DXV 3, With alpha" and A button is green, but there is no dropdown list with alpha types. So, there is no problem with files.

Alpha types list is exists on my laptop, but doesn't exists on tablet.

It looks like this is a UI issue and a question for the developers. Why don't you contact them directly via the preference menu and make sure to send the log files.

Ow, I thought Joris read this themes, and that's not very important for me at now, just interesting behavior.

I'm sure he does but this is a user forum so if you need direct help it's best to contact the devs directly.
