FPS Drop when & after advanced output used

Hey, now i need your help.
Setup:
Nvida 770m (newest update) & (Intel Optimus / Intel 4600)
Resolume is for sure running on the 770m (gpuZ / Nvidea tell me so)
No external Display attached
Clean Comp / only 1 clip (dxv) , line source or testcard
What´s happening is that my fps drop to ~30fps and stay there after i open the advanced output menu.
When i open Windowed Output (display1) it only drops to ~30 as long as it´s open, disabeling output again restore the fps to ~60 again ( Same in fullscreen display 1 mode)
When i start Resolume normal and dont open the advanced output i can preasure it as allways and fps will stay ~60 till i open the advanced output once.
GPU-Z show me some Gpu load around 5-10% with low clockspeed, so nothing to worry about.
Display info: Render Card : 770 /// Gfx Card : intel 4600
---Info main OpenGL renderer---
Vendor : NVIDIA Corporation
Model: GeForce GTX 770M/PCIe/SSE2
OpenGL version: 4.3.0
OpenGL version short: 4.3
OpenGL shader language version: 4.30 NVIDIA via Cg compiler
When you need some more info pls let me know and i can provide them as well. Thank you all for looking and try to help me

try to roll back the display driver to an older version.

It first noticed this on the last show 13.2. before that i had the same driver for a year and it was working just fine. Now i updated as a try to fix it but it stayed the same. So reroll to an older driver can be a try but dont make any sence.

Is Resolume actually performing worse, or is it just syncing to a different refresh rate?
The framerate is an indication of how fast Resolume renders, but it's not always a clear indication of how fast it *can* render. This is because it's capped at the refresh rate of your external connections. Under the hood, Resolume might be able to render at 600fps, but that's pointless if your monitor only refreshes 60 times per second.
Capping the refresh rate just means that it won't render faster than that. It could very well be that you can run the same amount of videos. Quite often, people get so terrified when they see the framerate jump to 30, that they don't check whether they can actually run less videos.
How many layers of 1080p can you run before it drops below 30 fps when the initial fps is 60, and how many when the initial fps is 30?

I cant see any glitches / bad behaviour / start & stop movements or stuff.
My internal Display is set to 60Hz.
Later i will test with an actuall external Display / projector and report in
******************************************************
Pluged my Projector in...
Flusscreen Output Display 2 --> Drops to 30fps
Disable Output ---> back to 60fps
Hit Advanced Output---> Drops to 30fps
Disable Output ---> Stay at 30fps
So nothing changed so far...

Yeah, so that's just Resolume capping to your monitor's refresh rate.
It's not actually rendering slower, it's just not rendering faster than 30.

but... ähhmm... but...
my Monitor & Projector are both set to 60Hz...

When you say 60Hz, Is your projector set to 60i or 60p in your system? Because if it is set to interlaced, that would mean 60 half frames or 30 full frames cut in half.

The fact remains that there is no actual drop in performance, which I assume is your main concern. You will still be able to play the same amount of layers before your fps drops below 30. You just won't see a gradual decrease down from 60 to 30.
In fact, unless you consistently need to playback 60 fps content, in a lot of cases, it's actually better to sync to 30. Let's say you have enough going on to have your fps fluctuate somewhere around 48. All your effects will then render out of sync with the refresh rate. For 4 out of 5 refresh cycles of your monitor, Resolume is able to render a new frame, and the image in the output will change. For 1 out 5, it's not able to render the frame in time, so the output will show the same image as the last. This means that your strobes will not strobe consistently and any animated parameters can appear to slightly jump.
By capping to 30 fps, you're in sync with the refresh rate again (30/60 is exactly 0.5). This means every two refresh cycles of your monitor are exactly one render pass in Resolume. Any animations will then take exactly the same amount of time between refresh cycles.
I'll go you one better: On most shows, I actually use a special Resolume build that lets me cap the refresh rate to 30 on purpose, precisely for this reason.

Not sure how i see what signal my laptop is sending, but in the monitor settings 60p is chosen.
