Enttec DMX USB Pro on Arena 5.0.2

Hi all,

I'm running Arena on a MacBook Pro Retina (2012). Thanks to the excellent info found on your forum, I got my Enttec DMX USB Pro to work well with Arena 5.0.1 a while ago.

The recent upgrade to 5.0.2 mentions a fix for the troublesome relation between the Enttec and Arena under 'El Capitan'. However, Arena 5.0.2 doesn't see the Enttec.
Both the Enttec Pro Manager & my Arena 5.0.1 can still find it.

I'm guessing I have to reverse part of the changes made to get it to work for 5.0.1 in the first place. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You're going to have to update to El Capitan.

Enttec completely changed their protocol and fixing this meant that since 5.0.2 we can only support the USB Pro on El Capitan (and up). It was impossible to support both the old and the new protocol at the same time.

I'm running the last 10.11.4 (not the beta 10.11.5). Do you mean I'll have to wait untill 10.11.5 is released to be able to use dmx under my arena 5.0.2?

I see. I thought you were running an earlier version of OSX.

I think it's best if you contact Enttec support and ask them for the Terminal command that will re-enable the Apple driver. That's better than us cobbling something together for you, since messing up in Terminal can have serious consequences.
