hello everybody!
I have macbook pro 15' retina early 2013
16GB RAM
SSD 512
El Capitan 10.11.6
I have FPS problem
when i play with One source i get decent FPS of about 55-60.
But when I connect another video source (2 LED CARD Outputs), the FPS drops down to 10-18 FPS
is there any way to increase the FPS?
Or there's something I need to change my computer settings?
any helps or tips will be appreciated,
Thanks
Rubi

What GPU does your Macbook use? It sounds like it has an Intel HD Graphics card. Resolume renders everything on the GPU, and so it prefers Macs with the AMD cards. You need a dedicated GPU in order to seriously run Resolume.
If this is the culprit, you don't necessarily have to get a new laptop. You could get a PCIe bay like the Wolfe (now on kickstarter, and mentioned in General Chat here I believe) or a Razer core. These devices use Thunderbolt to connect a PCIe GPU to your Macbook. Then, you're only as limited as your GPU. The Wolfe can come pre-loaded with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 which will be plenty powerful for you.
Other things to consider:
- are all of your videos encoded in DXV codec? If not, re-encode them according to the Resolume manual.
- if you disconnect the LED video source (what is this thing exactly?) can you then use several layers of video again? If so, this device is the culprit.
I would suggest you read through the manual thoroughly, and repeatedly, like a Bible. To get more acquainted with how Resolume works (and how you can make your best work).
